8/21/07 1 CommentIf You're Not a MindFreak, GET THE CLUCK OUT! (HAHA)
Well earlier today I listened to the MindFreak soundtrack for the first time! It was really good! Ofcourse, I don't need to tell you guys that, cuz you already know! My favorite song on there is ofcourse the 1st one, 'Mindfreak'. But my other favs are MF2, Come Alive, Die For Me, Fly, Awake and the rest of the Mindfreak versions. Some of the songs kind of remind me of Delerium, which is cool cuz I like them, but I would say overall the cd is pretty unique. Can't wait to read his book now! Ok... now the episode tonight! It was awesome! He is so funny... it would be cool just to spend the entire day with him because he is SO much fun. Never a dull moment with him. And when he hypnotized that chicken, I was like... WHAT THE CLUCK?!! HEEHEE (Okay, I laugh at my own jokes lol). It was also good to see him as a cowboy again... SAVE A HORSE RIDE A CRISS, I always say! YEEEHAWWW! Giddy-up! I really loved the initiation stunt! I'm sort of into shamanism and stuff like that so it was great to see. Criss is so multi-talented and a VERY interesting fellow.

8/18/07 2 CommentsGot Some Criss Angel Stuff Today
Well a couple days ago I ordered stuff from the Criss Angel store for the first time! I got it today! WEEE! I got the MindFreak Official Soundtrack, his book 'Secret Revelations' and the t-shirt called 'Come W/ Me' (where he's holding out his hand). I wanted to get a couple necklaces, but the ones that I wanted were out of stock. I wanted the one called 'key to believing' (looks like a key w/ Criss emblem) and the pink suede choker. They're only 19 dollars; that's really cheap. It figures they're out of stock. I'm going to keep checking... I can't wait til they get them back in! In the meantime I am really looking forward to reading his book (it looks really good) and listening to the soundtrack. 15 dollars is a REALLY good deal for that CD with bonus DVD. I think the prices in the store are VERY reasonable and we also get 10% off, which is another nice thing. I'm still waiting for my membership stuff though. Hopefully I'll get it by next month.
BRRR! It is SO cold today! It was like 60 for the high and right now it's barely 50 degrees. That's really cold for this time of year. That's Lake Placid for ya... I wish I lived in a warmer climate... like LAS VEGAS! Some of you are so lucky... you're probably nice and toasty warm while I'm sitting here wearing a sweatshirt with a shirt underneath! LOL! -
8/10/07 6 CommentsI'm 30... YUCK!
Hey all! Sorry I haven't been in here or in chat very much lately. I've just been going through some emotional stuff lately (as we all do from time to time). Anyhoo, it was my birthday a few days ago... I'm officially 30 years old! Gasp! Ya know, I've learned over my lifetime to not expect much on my birthday because I always end up disappointed. But I thought my 30th would have been something special... I mean it's a milestone birthday. I don't know... it kind of sucked. First off, I wasn't feeling too well the night before and actually had a fever. I thought to myself, okay it's bad enough I'm turning 30, but 30 and sick?! GRRR... I didn't sleep too good that night. Then, on the 7th (my b-day) while I was in the shower, a spider was crawling on the shower curtain! I have a major phobia of spiders, so you can guess how I reacted! LMAO! I screamed and jumped out! I was in the middle of putting conditioner in my hair too! HA! I was just standing there naked and wet with conditioner goop running off my head and water all over the floor! LMAO! Then I said outloud to myself, "well so far, my birthday SUCKS!" LOL! I got back in the shower kind of freaked out. I continued to shower even though I knew the spider was in there! I had to shave my legs but let me tell you I had to contort myself in a way that I pulled my thigh muscle simply cuz I didn't want to come in contact with that spider! LOL! Oh man... anyway I only got a couple cards, a couple presents and a couple phone calls. It felt like a normal birthday and I guess I was expecting something grander, like a surprise party or something. I mean, it was my 30th and my family/friends didn't even do anything. My roommate/ex did however make me lobster dinner and put money in my checking account which was very nice. He pretty much saved my birthday from becoming a totally depressing day. It was still a disappointment though. At this point I'm kinda over it (alteast I'm laughing about it). Oh well, I'm 30 and now I get to look over my life and see what I have and haven't accomplished so far... UGH! Bring on the early mid-life crisis! I also missed the last MF episode (near drowning) cuz my overly chatty sister would not let me get off the phone! The ONE time she decides to call me on my birthday... and it's during Mindfreak! (That figures... LOL). Oh well, hopefully they'll show it again... I do watch the repeats. Happy Birthday to anyone who had a birthday recently... hope it was more fun-filled than mine! LMAO!

7/31/07 2 CommentsNot All Psychics Are Phony!
Well I saw tonight's episode and I don't know what to think. He pretty much made all those who do tarot look like phony scammers or something. I don't understand why he has such a bad opinion of psychics and people like that. I thought he was more open-minded than that. I agree with him that there are scammers out there. I believe there are scammers in every kind of profession (not just magical professions). But to label all those who practice divination as scammers is not a very nice thing to do. There are some out there who are very gifted at their craft. I will say that I was a little pissed off. I don't do the tarot for a living or anything, but I do practice it and have like 50 decks or so. I actually collect tarot cards. Are they accurate ALL the time? Well no. But nothing in life is 100% accurate. I don't know... the episode just made me feel weird. If I were to meet him right now, I would probably get all up in his grill and be like "I practice divination... do you have a problem with that?!!" LMAO! Oh well. I'll get over this. A part of me still likes him a lot and another part of me is pissed off at him and rolling my eyes at his little episode with the tarot bashing. It's his opinion I guess. (Sigh) Are there any other Wiccans, witches, diviners etc in this club who feel a little hurt from that episode tonight?
Don't get me wrong anyone... I still appreciate Criss for inspiring me and helping me face my fears. I will always be grateful for that. And because of that, I will always be a fan. But I'm afraid that the episode I saw is stirring some conflicting and confusing feelings in me right now.

That snake is almost in the shape of a triquetra (trinity symbol). Cool!
Jeanie took this picture of me and Costa! =)
I met Criss during a M&G December 6, 2008. I couldn't say very much but 'I love you' and hugged him over and over, haha. I saw him again after the show that night, and got to kiss him on the cheek. I blew him a kiss as he was leaving and he blew one back. It was a magical night that went by too fast. I hope to be in his arms again someday

Me and my loyal sisters
I need to see him again
Me and my online sis, Crissy! The first Loyal I've met in person so far! I can't wait to meet more of you!

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE MY PERSONAL PICTURES WITHOUT ASKING (the ones that were taken by my camera or my friends' camera) ~ Thanks!

I am! (Thank you for the picture Crissy!) If you wanna be a wildflower too, just put this lovely poem by David Leonhardt into your profile along with a picture of a wildflower that represents you. Make sure no one else chose that flower! =)
